My name is J. Machado and this website is my online presence. “Everlasting Design” is my trading name as a freelance graphic designer.

I provide services of web development and graphic design for print and multimedia, with the support of several associates and collaborators, via a well organised web-based network.

I am based in the beautiful Surrey County, in England, from where I work and run my network of freelance artists.

The network is presently made of over 12 artists, with several others in standby just in case the workload increases. Every morning, from 9 am to 6 pm, from Monday to Friday, we all log-in to our online communication system and work together via the Internet as though we were physically in the same office or studio. We communicate with each other, as well as with our clients, by real-time text chatting and/or VOIP (computer) phone calls or even, when needed, through video-conference. All of us work comfortably from our own well equipped home-studios.

I am based in England and most of my colleagues are based offshore. This factor, together with the way we work, allows me to charge very competitive rates by reducing profit margins - as I am able to keeping my business expenses/overheads quite low.

Each and every project’s briefing comes to me and I deal directly with all clients, assisted by my very capable daughter and my trusted number one associate and friend, Mrs Ilidia Serra, from Portugal, who is a senior graphic designer and web developer. Mrs Serra and I have been working together for nearly three years without interruption.

I never compromise when it comes to quality and I am quite demanding with my colleagues, as well as with myself, in order to always present a finished product that completely satisfies our clients.

I must also mention that I am proud to be assisted – once in a while, whenever it is feasible - by some extremely talented third-year BA (Honours) students from the University of the Creative Arts, Farnham campus, in Surrey, for special projects that involve 3D rendered images, editing and other forms of digital arts for multimedia.

In conclusion, there is no shortage of talent and professionalism around here, so I believe we can efficiently and successfully produce high standard finished products, even if worked on with very limited budgets or tight deadlines.
